Domino’s Pizza has secured a £2.5bn deal with Dominos Pizza Group, the US fast food giant said in a statement.
The deal will see Dominos’ Pizza brand products, including Dominoes Pizza, Domino Pasta and Domino Signature, available in Ireland.
It will also include Domino-branded frozen pizza products, Dominos Pizza Baking Chips, Domos Pizza Chips and Domos Pizzas.
Domino’s is the world’s third-largest pizza chain after McDonald’s and Subway.
Dominos has already entered into an agreement to buy Dominos Group, a US food giant, for $7.7bn.
The deal includes an agreement with Domino to buy up to 40% of the company’s shares.
In a statement, Dominos said the deal was worth an initial investment of £2,000 each, of which the company is currently the majority shareholder.
The company has said it expects to reach profitability in the third quarter of 2019, with an estimated turnover of £40bn.
Dominossos is also looking to add other pizza brands to its portfolio, including Pizza Hut, Pizza Hut Signature, Pizza Pizza and Domicore.
