FOX Sports’ Pat Riley’s latest pizza update features a “pizza for every occasion” in the form of a “slice pizza.”
The Pizza Channel’s Chris Wood, the founder of the popular pizza blog Pizza Hut, spoke with the NBA star about the pizza’s “pizzicato” and the “pills and toppings” that make up the sandwich.
Wood, who is also the co-founder of the restaurant chain Papa John’s, explained that the slice pizza is a “very simple, classic slice of pizza.”
According to Wood, “there are no ingredients you have to mix, no toppings, just a slice.”
Wood also pointed out that the sandwich’s “stuffed mozzarella, peppers and cheese” are “super flavorful,” as well as the “marinara sauce, tomato sauce and cheddar cheese,” which he also mentioned in the video.
Pizza Hut’s Pizza Channel has had a successful run since launching in 2014.
In the past few years, the channel has expanded its pizza menu and the brand has become more recognizable.
In 2017, Pizza Hut launched a pizza with the word “pancake” on it, which was a big hit with the fans.
