Restaurants that offer pizza at its best are finding ways to compete with each other, but a new survey shows some are making it harder to compete.
The latest survey of nearly 500 people found that the pizza that delivers the best flavor is actually made by one of the world’s largest pizza makers, with only the smallest margin for error.
For the second straight year, The Ristorante Giulio Pizza Co. topped the list of best pizza makers in a global survey of about 2,500 people in 20 countries.
But the Italian restaurant group, which owns dozens of restaurants across the U.S., Canada and Europe, didn’t offer much competition in the survey of pizza experts, which included the likes of Michelin-starred restaurants, pizzerias and even pizza parlors.
“You can’t go to a pizza shop and say, ‘We’re going to put this in front of your eyes,’ ” said Andrea Mora, who directs the Pizza Industry Network at the University of Illinois.
Pizza lovers across the globe, especially in the U:ve been demanding a better pizza for years.
In 2013, The Washington Post reported that the median price of a pizza was $8.80, or about $3.65 more than the median monthly salary in that country.
Pizza experts and other experts say pizza should cost about $5.50 to $6.00, which would translate into a better pie for about a quarter of American consumers.
But the pizza industry in the United States has consistently lagged in terms of innovation and quality, said Peter Besser, executive director of the National Restaurant Association.
Besser said that in recent years, the pizza makers who have become popular in America have also been trying to get their products to the mainstream.
The popularity of fast-casual restaurants, which are more expensive, has hurt the quality of pizza.
Still, the survey, conducted by the restaurant industry’s trade group, the International Pizza Federation, found that Pizza Hut, which operates over 150 locations, was ranked No. 2 in the world.
The chain ranked No, 4 in France, and No. 5 in the European Union.
Last year, Pizza Hut was one of five chains ranked No 1 worldwide by the Institute for Research on Food and Agriculture, a research group.
The institute also rated Pizza Hut’s pizza among the top 10 best pizza in the whole world.
And Pizza Hut has expanded into other regions of the U., like the United Kingdom, where it now has more than 500 stores and is the No. 1 pizza maker.
According to a 2014 study from The Associated Press, Pizza Hill, which opened in the Los Angeles area in 2009, had about 15% of the pie sales in the country.
Its flagship pizza was No. 3 on the list, and its signature pizzas topped the best-seller list for two straight years.
The Pizza Hut study also found that The Pizzeria Roma in Los Angeles, the only chain to offer pizza in all 50 states, has more locations than Pizza Hut.
It is ranked No 5 on the best list for the fifth consecutive year, and it has become the most popular pizza maker in the nation.
Pizza Hut, owned by the Sartori family, has been one of Italy’s most successful pizza makers for decades.
But over the past two decades, it has lost ground to other players, including chains like Papa John’s, which also make pizzas in all of the 50 states.
As for Pizza Hut itself, it closed a dozen stores and cut about 3,000 jobs last year.
On its website, Pizza Huts, the company’s pizza delivery service, says the majority of its customers are under the age of 30.
But some of its top franchisees say the company has lost more than 90% of its market share to other chains.
